These Holidays are so boring for me,

well we are planning to go to a dance in Otara we dance until 12:00 then we all count down from ten and say "HAPPY NEW YEARS" i can not wait.

Changes For 2014

Next Year I am looking forward to going Tech we will be doing wood work and cooking also I will be looking forward to the Year 8 Prefects for next year also I would like to be in room 21.

The reason why I would like to be in room 21 is because my favourite teacher is Mrs Langitupu I will be so happy to be in her class my favourite subject is reading and writing.

Camp Bentzon

Next Week we will be leaving to Camp Benzon it is in north Cove we will be doing activities like Swimming,Burma Trail and Kayaking, I am most looking forward to Abesailing because I have never done it before and i`d like to have a try.

Church

On a cloudy sunday, We went to church me and my family first we got dressed then we did a prayer then we got our scriptures organised and left, As we got to church we looked for a seat to sit on so we found a seat then we were seated. A couple of minutes later our Bishop came, A Bishop is like a person who looks after everyone but he doesn't own the church, So he first spoke to us then he did announces to tell us what is happening in the church and around the church.

So as he finished speaking we took one whole hour of sitting there also singing there and listening to the testimonies that were given to the audience, A couple of minutes later we went to Sunday School and had a little lesson it was about how did people get lives, Well people got lives by God he made the earth,  Did you know that one leaf you might of helped God do it? since I am Mormon I am proud.

As we finished sunday school we went down stairs and had a close up so we can go home and have something to eat, So as we got down stairs we had to wait for the teacher to come and tell us to come in so we went in and did some activities.  We had to decorate some Rocks with stickers and paper also using diamonds and smiley faces at the end we can take it home to decorate our house.

Strange Noises

One sunny day a little girl named Sally went out to check on the sheep, She was just skipping although her dad did not know that she was outside. She woke up really early at 7:30 just to play outside and check on the sheep  her dad was still sleeping but she was out. No one saw her walk into the shed where the sheep get shorn, She was looking for the sheep but there were no sheep around.

As she walked back out the shed she heard a whisper coming from the big hill she said “Who is it “ nothing replied so she kept quiet. Until someone shouted out loud “OVER HERE”. She looked nothing was there she got scared really scared. She thought that it was her dad  then she said to herself “No because dad is sleeping he would not  come out and scare me like that”. So she started to run back to the house but that whisper came back.

The whisper replied “Sally Sally help” Sally turned around and she saw a head she screamed”AHHH” and ran back inside.  She ran straight to her dad and said”Dad Dad I heard someone it was calling me and saying help help”.  Her dad looked at her and said “ what are you doing it is so early”. Go to bed but sally said “ NO” and walked out really grumpy also really tired.

She just said” I will show you come” so her dad went outside with her and looked she said “ right there “.  Her dad  walked towards it and said “Ohh that is not a head that is a fake head it is just a head from a big doll. What doll? “Ohh it was this doll i got for you when you were 4 but you did not like it so you chucked it away.  When you were 8 now your just 10. But she said”No there was a whisper and I think it came from this doll”.

So her dad and her walked back to the house, Then a whisper came back saying”Help Help over here under the tree”. She said “ there dad there” and her  dad said “ is that a boy” “yes it is” said Sally “lets go “. So they walked to the boy and said “ Are you ok” “No” he said,  Sally said”what is your name”?. He said “ my name is Mat I got lost” “ how” said Sally. So they picked him up and called the ambulance to come because he had scratches and some blood patches. So the ambulance arrived and took Mat so he can be treated well in Hospital.

Paragraph Rubric

On a lovely morning day Tom went out to play on the quad bike, as he was riding he was also very happy,there was a bump on the other side he did not see it but others did, like his friends they saw but Tom did not, so he kept riding then he stopped for a rest,  as he was resting his friends said” Hey Tom “ but Tom could not hear he was so far down that he couldn't hear anything,  so as  he finished drinking his drink bottle he got back on the quad bike and sped off really fast.

So he kept riding and all his friends were just worried that he might get hurt, but Tom turned back around and started riding to them then he stopped and got off the quad bike and  said “Do You Guys Want A Turn” no thanks but thanks for asking, So he got back on the quad bike, and his friends said to him “be careful of that bump” then Tom said” What bump it is ok I`ll be alright see you later”.

Tom said in his head what bump he was quite far away from it,  but he just kept riding then he got closer to the bump and went right over it then he fell and the quad bike fell on him then he SCREAMED for help then all his friends came and they all said” Tom are you ok “ and  Tom just cried and said “ GET THIS THING OFF ME” they all looked and the dad got there and said “Tom Tom” so the dad called the ambulance and they rushed to the farm and tried pushing it off him, so they pushed harder and it got off but Tom had scratches all over his legs then he got rushed to hospital.

Big Day For Emily

On an October spring morning  Emily felt free to run around and play with all her other friends, she lives in Molesworth Station. She has a big patch of wool on her body it is hot and uncomfortable for her to walk around in. Also she enjoys eating they have wool so that they are warm and comfortable,but every year their wool gets sheared off.

There is green grass for them to graz in if they felt really hungry, most of the time they enjoyed the nice windy air.As Emily was grazing she heard a fourwheeler bike coming as she looked it had two dogs, all of a sudden she started to run the farmer hopped off his four wheeler and whistled to his dogs to go and chase them.They all stopped and looked the dog got closer and  closer  to them so they started to run faster.

Emily was worried and frightened as she saw the Dog. She ran so fast that she could not stop all her other friends were scared to. They looked back and the Dogs were not tired of running  the dogs chased them into the pen.She thought that the dog was gonna jump on top of her so she kept running until she got there.

As the sheep got to the pen they were confused and scared because they did not know what to do. They had to wait until they get inside to get sheared. They were also hot and tired at the same time as they were waiting.

When they got there they had to wait for their turn. As they were waiting some were happy and some were not some were just tired and hot also still confused. Some dogs hopped on top of them so they do not run away.

So as they have finished waiting they have to go into the shed where they get shorn, some go in and some still have to wait to go inside for their turn, a couple of them were still afraid and scared with all the others.

The first one goes in and is really scared, Then the shorner gets her and holds her hand and her leg so she stays still,  she is really uncomfortable and upset because her back is on the floor and it hurts.

After been shorn they all start running back out to the field and feeling really happy, but some are still getting shorn and still scared, some sheep when they come out they have cuts and there's little tiny blood dots around them.

As they finished getting shorn they felt free to run around again and play around again also feel free to eat.

Sugar Buns.

Today we Baked Sugar Buns, it is for  the Teachers first we had to go on the Year 6 sight and we had to find the recipe for the Sugar Buns.

The ingredients are:

1, 1/2 cup of Flour   {Sifted}
2, 1 heaped teaspoon of  baking powder.   {Sifted}
3, 3/4 of cup sugar.
4, 1 pinch of salt.
5, two heaped table spoons of butter.   {Rub In}
6, 1 egg
7, 1/2 tea spoon of Vanilla.
8, 1/2 cup of milk.
9, Drop Spoonfuls of mixture onto tray and sprinkle with Sugar.
Bake at 200 celcius for 10 minutes.

Moral in the story Androcles and the Lion

I did a short movie about Respecting and being kind to others it is a lesson that Aesop taught kids how to be kind and to respect. We read Androcles and the Lion to learn this lesson.

The moral of the story is if you are kind to someone they are kind back to you.

Hamilton Temple

On a windy Saturday morning my family and I went down to Hamilton to the Temple to do baptisms for the dead I never got to do it but my sisters did I had to wait in the car for them to finish the baptisms
as they were finishing it off I stayed in the car with my brother.

When they finished they came to the car and we gave them something to eat before we leave for a long ride  back to Auckland.

As we were driving we stopped by at Burger King and we had Chips and a Burger also we had Sundays and a drink I had a very lovely day.

When we finished we drove to a place called Pokeno and there  is a dairy there that sells ice cream and if you want a big ice cream it is 12 scoups I only got 2,  so that day we drove back to Auckland and we got home safely.

Cross Country Run.

We had our Cross Country on Thursday it was a nervous day for most of us, we had to line up in our age groups and wait until the rest of the 9 year olds have finished their running.

Lining up ready to run I was really nervous,  also my legs can not stop shaking and  I got goosebumps as I was on the line.

As I was waiting on the courts it was really hot and nerve racking I got really excited to go for the run and to finish it off properly.

At the Finish Line it was really crowded and noisy also there were alot of cheering and clapping most of the people were talking as I got through the finish line I was exhausted and happy.

The Three Little Pigs.

Once Upon A Time there were Three Little Pigs that said good bye to their mother because they were leaving to build their own hous. For them to live in also for them to  grow up in and seek their own fortune as they are living by their own selves

The first  little Pig went to buy hay from an old  lady  then went back to the place  and  built a house quick and easy for her  to live in.

Then the big bad wolf smelt bacon and knocked on the door with a big KNOCK KNOCK  then said.“Little Pig,Little Pig let me come in” growled the big bad  Wolf  “NO Not by the hairs of my chinny chin chin” said the scared little Pig  “Then I  will HUFF and I'll PUFF and I  will BLOW your house down” then the big bad wolf blew the whole house down  and ate the Piglet all up and came out with blood all over his mouth then wiped it with his paws.

The Second little Pig built a house with sticks and the little pig thought it was stronger,  then built the house and sat down to relax along came  the big bad Wolf then  knocked on the door and said “Little  pig Little pig let me come in” then the pig said “no not by the hairs on my chinny chin chin”.

“Then I will huff and I'll Puff and I will BLOW your house down” then he blew it all down, the  big bad wolf  smelt  Ham.

Suddenly the big bad wolf   found the little pig and  ate the little piglet all up and as the big bad wolf finished he came out with an enormous big TUMMY  and wiped the blood off its mouth from the little piglet.

The third pig thought he was brainy, so he went and buyed bricks off an old man  then went back and built the house.

The the big bad wolf knocked on the door and said   “Little Pig,Little Pig let me come in”  “No not by the hairs of my chinny chin chin” Replied the little Pig “ok then” said the big bad wolf “Then I'll huff and i'll puff and i'll blow your house down”.

The wolf huffed and puffed and blew but still the pig  house did not fall because it was made

out of brick then the wolf blew and still it did not fall then the wolf climbed through the chimney

and slided down.

The little pig put a pot of HOT water then as the the big bad wolf slided down he burnt his bottom in the pot and SCREAMED then ran away and the little pig was happy and  lived happily ever after in his big brick house.

My Favourite sport.

Yesterday night we watched The Chiefs Vs Brumbies game and it was AMAZING my favourite player in the Chiefs is Tim Nanai Williams but he did not play because of his leg that is ok I am just happy the they won.

Yesterday night we watched The Chiefs Vs Brumbies game and it was AMAZING my favourite player in the Chiefs is Tim Nanai Williams but he did not play because of his leg that is ok I am just happy that they won the score at the end was 27-22 27 to the Chiefs and 22 to the Brumbies.

For Today.

Today was the second week of  term 3 and we had lots of fun finishing off our Three Little Pigs Story for Literacy.

The next Subject we did was Maths and we had to finish off our art also our teacher helped us with it we had to use colors to color it in we drew Koru patterns and colored over the pencil really hard.

After lunch we had to go back to our maths class, the thing we did after lunch was Pictographs and Tally Charts.

Also today was my Mums Birthday she was very lucky she got to have a day off of work so she can just clean or sleep in.

My Weekend.

Today is my weekend I really enjoyed cleaning up and having a day off school it felt like a holiday, so first I woke up and brushed my teeth and washed  my face then I cleaned my bed and  broomed my side next to my bed.

The next thing I did was I went outside and helped clean the back yard after that I ate a little bit then I carried on cleaning and had fun throughout the whole day.

All About Me

This story is all about me I am ten years of age and I go to Point England School also I am in room 17 my teacher is Miss Garden and I am a year 6 student.

I go to church as well I am a Mormon and I love to Be a member of the church also I always read the Scriptures at night time.

I love going to school and having fun with my friends also I love learning, my favorite subject is Reading it is fun because I like to understand the words also I like reading the words that I know I can read.

My Activity

Today we did a activity and it was about Siapo Patterns and we did art with Miss Kerkwood and we did lots of stuff we also used colors and paper for the art we had to make it Abstract and Beautiful.

So first we had to get a Pencil a paper and colors then try and search up a photo of it then copy it, I drew a flower but it was not that good still I had fun.

The Theme.

When I got to school I was excited to see what our theme was so first I went to see what was our 

theme but on the board so as I looked it was Lifes A Stage and I was thinking what is that theme then I had to go and line up ready for assembly.

So as we were walking to assembly we sat down and Mr Burt had to call out the teams that were going to perform  team 1 was first and there one was about fairy tales then I knew what our theme was it was about acting, performing and singing then I was really HAPPY about it.

Helium.

Have you ever tried breathing in Helium it so fun you and your friends will laugh so hard and you to but at the end so first you have to blow in the Helium.

The second step is you have to talk then you sound like a Chipmunk once you have done it you can keep doing it but you have to make sure you do not keep breathing because you  will get DIZZY, At the end you have had alot of fun using the Helium.
