Antarctica Seals

WALT-  We are learning to summarise the main points of a paragraph.

Seals are Mammals that live in the ocean all over the world all of the seals at Antarctica are non-eared these seals have lots of blubber to keep them warm.

Seals have thick short hair on their streamlined body to keep them warm they have flippers to help them be superb swimmers most of the time seals are in the sea.

As Seals are getting out of the sea they have to HAUL themselves out of the water on the land
to give birth to their pups or rest on the Ice most of the Seals  are slow and clumsy all Seals are graceful in the water.

There are 30 million Crabeaters in Antarctica. Did you know that Crabeaters eat krill instead of crabs in the sea?

Leopard Seals hunt for Penguins under Ice. As Leopards are out of the water they can not move quickly.

Weddell Seals live in the Southern Ocean. They spend the whole time in Antarctica. Also they stay at Antarctica even though the water has frozen.

You thought carefully about the key words to jot down and have written clear sentences to summarise each paragraph.
Good labeling of your post.
Keep up the good summarising Mao.

Hello, Mao

I enjoyed reading you story about Antartica Wild Life. Did you know that only 16 species of seals live in Antartica! You thought about your sentence begins carefully, but just remember to proof read before you post!
