Dissapearing

This is my writing sample that i did last week and i plan on editing it and posting again to show how good i am at editing my work

Once upon a time there was a little girl named Lily she was nine years old her country was SNOWING, everywhere she looked she would always see white snow so she had an idea she went and got a ice cube and she left it outside to see if it would disappear.

In the morning she got out of bed and she ran outside her mum kelly called out “Lily get inside it is freezing out their get inside” but lily still wouldn't come in.

The workers men cleared all the snow and the snow melted in the sun “IT`s SUMMER IT`s SUMMER” Lily screamed out.

So she got another ice cube and she put it on the ground then she ran around her house and came back but all she saw was the ice gone all she saw was water so she got another ice cube and she put it there and she watched it as it melted WOW she said it is shiny and amazing so she showed it to someone.

She showed it to her mum and her mum just laughed what is so funny mum Aaahhh her mum said that is amazing but it is just ice yes said lily it is beautiful ohh get inside and have a rest her mum said.

Omaru Creek

This is Omaru Creek it is filled with rubbish and it is really sad there is a rubbish catcher which catches the rubbish.

The fishes the ells and the tadpoles are dying because the rubbish and liquids people put in the creek so we are trying to take care of our creek even the storm water vents a dirty and filled with leaves grass and branches also there is a dam.

First Day Of School

On the first day of school I was nervous because I did not know what class i would be in but as i saw my friends i was  happy.My favorite thing through this week was playing games with the teachers and the other thing was taking our class photos.

The other thing that I was happy about was my teacher. My teacher is Mrs Garden she is a really kind teacher to me she does fun things with us too.

Prizegiving

This is a movie about our Prize Giving it was fun.

Premiter

The thing we learnt was how to do Perimeter it is really easy if there is a square you have to count around the square then you get the lovely answer something cm.Here is a link:Perimeter

My Reflection

The thing I do differently now is playing on my netbook and learning how to show my work on internet to the world.


I think my learning is getting better I think I need to learn how to speak to others nicely and use good confidence as I speak to them.


2012 has surprised because we have a lovely teacher named Miss King and she teaches us heaps of things about netbooks and the other thing that has surprised me was that we have netbooks too.


The thing that I have enjoyed this year is Music and ICT because in music we sing lovely songs and in ICT we can finish off any animations we have not finished.

Tangram

The thing I made this out with is with two Triangles and one diamond and two big diamonds and one more medium diamond and one shape that was shaped as a mat sideways and then it was made as a cat.
